How to create a moral philosophy

1. From all of the conceivable motivations for human behaviour (A, B, C, D, E, F, …) select one (R).

2. All human behaviour may be explained in terms of R.

3. All other conceivable motivations for human behaviour (A, B, C, D, … P, Q, S, T, …) either:

a. May be reduced to R;

b. Are evil and must be suppressed at all costs before they destroy human civilisation; or

c. Are impossible or nonexistent, being the sentimental fantasies of insufficiently tough-minded persons.
