Even though I was one of the three contributors mentioned by name in Geordie Williamson’s article in the Australian about Miscellaneous Voices #1, I feel ill-equipped to take part in the serious online discussions going on elsewhere. This is because my piece is not a thoughtful reflection upon anything. It’s a silly literary in-joke.

The article gives the impression that the piece was originally published line by line via Twitter, which it wasn’t. I’m not sure whether he’s damning it with faint praise but I am happy that he called it ‘droll’. Droll is what I’m aiming for.

  1. I thought the, “cancerpills23423 is now following you on twitter” line was particularly droll, in fact was pretty bloody laugh out loud funny!

  2. Thanks – glad you liked it.
