1. You can no longer enjoy things “ironically”.* You’re 40 years old. If you watch it or read it all the way thought, you either liked it or you didn’t.
*In point of fact, you never could. Liking something (or, if you like, “liking” it) because it’s “so bad it’s good” is not irony, it’s affectation. But don’t beat yourself up about it. We all did it, and heaven knows, there was a lot of bad stuff to “like”. But we’ll get to that shortly.
