CD Cover Meme

A beautiful Llullian idea, which deserves a better name than CD Cover Meme:

• Hit Wikipedia’s random page selector: the title is the name of your band
• Hit this quotation site’s random page: the last four words of the last quote are the CD title
• Get the third image on Flickr’s interesting page, or, even better, use this link, which gives a random photo from the interesting pool which will be CC-licensed

Then use Photoshop or whatever and build the CD cover.

It’s such a lovely demonstration of the creative exhaustion of the mainstream indie aesthetic that I can almost here Momus writing a post about it now.
